Chapter 01
One contractor, start to finish
A rebuild that changes hands between contractors is where most delays actually come from. The demolition crew leaves, a separate general contractor has to be found and scheduled, and the homeowner becomes the one chasing down whoever forgot to order the matching trim or the right flooring sample. Nobody on either crew owns the whole job, so nobody is fully accountable when something is missed.

The Decorating Center
Before any new material goes in, the Decorating Center walks the homeowner through a CAD space-visualization layout of the room, so the flooring, cabinetry and finishes are chosen against an actual plan of the space rather than a swatch on a counter. That planning session happens once the room is dry, clean and ready to be finished, not before.
The installation itself runs on the same named product lines every time: Shaw flooring, Dal-Tile, Fieldcrest and Merillat cabinetry, and Hunter Douglas window treatments. Because the design team and the install crew both work for Clean Care, a change to the layout mid-project does not mean a phone call to a separate supplier or subcontractor to make it happen.
Chapter 03
Asbestos testing before anything comes down
A lot of the housing stock Clean Care works in across Rhode Island predates the materials most people expect asbestos to be in, vinyl floor tile, pipe wrap insulation, textured ceiling finishes, and older plaster. On a property where that is a real possibility, testing happens before demolition starts, not after someone has already cut into a wall.
Clean Care is a licensed asbestos abatement contractor, so inspection and testing, safe removal and disposal, encapsulation where removal is not called for, and post-removal air quality testing all happen under the same license before the reconstruction crew begins. Comprehensive site cleanup and a clearance reading confirm the space is actually safe before the Decorating Center is called in to finish it.
