Scaled for the whole building
Large Loss and Commercial Drying in Warwick, RI
A large loss is a scale problem before it is anything else: a building that took on water across thousands of square feet needs the moisture mapped everywhere at once, industrial equipment run for days rather than a weekend, and a schedule built around a business that still has to open its doors. Clean Care runs that kind of job out of Warwick around the clock.
Chapter 01
Mapping moisture across an entire building
A single-room water loss gets a moisture meter and a few daily readings. A large loss, whether that is an office floor, a warehouse or a gymnasium, gets a full moisture map before any equipment goes in, because water that entered at one point can travel through a slab, along ductwork or under a raised floor and show up dry-looking rooms away from where it started. Our technicians document that spread room by room so nothing gets missed and reopened once the building is back in use.
That map is also the documentation a property manager or an adjuster needs to see the scope of the loss in the first place, not just take our word for it. Readings get logged against a floor plan, not just a clipboard, so the building owner has a record that matches what the insurance carrier is being asked to pay for.

Air movers and yellow ducting drying a high school gymnasium floor
Industrial dehumidification and ducting at commercial scale
Once the extent of the loss is mapped, the drying itself runs on equipment sized for the building, not the residential air movers used on a smaller job. Trailer mounted industrial dehumidifiers get positioned outside and connected through yellow ducting run directly into the affected space, the same setup our crews deployed drying a full gymnasium floor at a Warwick area high school, air movers spread across the space and dehumidification trailers running continuously until the structure itself, not just the surface, reads dry.
IICRC certified technicians monitor that drying daily rather than setting equipment and leaving it, adjusting placement as different areas of a large space dry at different rates. A gymnasium subfloor and an office ceiling grid do not dry on the same schedule, and equipment left in the wrong place for a week wastes time the building does not have.
Chapter 03
Keeping the business trading while the drying runs
Most large loss clients are not deciding whether to fix the building, they are deciding how to keep operating while it happens. Clean Care schedules equipment placement, noise and access around the hours a business actually needs the space, phasing the drying floor by floor or wing by wing where the loss allows it rather than shutting the whole building down at once.
We are a preferred vendor for Nationwide, Narragansett Bay, Allstate, USAA, American Family, Liberty Mutual-Safeco and the Sedgwick Claims Network, which matters more on a large loss than a small one, because the documentation and the direct communication with the carrier are what keep a six figure claim moving instead of stalling on paperwork. Clean Care has been locally and family owned in Warwick since 1989, and a large loss call gets the same one hour response target as any other emergency, scaled to whatever crew and equipment the building needs.

Fleet on site, not one truck
A large loss gets a fleet, not a single van
A commercial scale loss is staffed with multiple branded trucks and enough technicians to run several sections of a building at once, so the drying does not wait on equipment moving from one wing to the next.

Scaled to the building, not the other way around.
